RECEPTION IN THE BULGARIAN EMBASSY IN BELGRADE

Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria in Belgrade, His Excellency, Angel Dimitrov, hosted a reception at his residence in Belgrade, marking the third March - Day of the Liberation of Bulgaria from Turkish slavery.
The reception was attended by the representatives of the Serbian government, the diplomatic corps, local governments, civil society organizations.
On this occasion, the President of Palilula Municipality in Niš Boban Džunić, presented the award to municipalities - the Charter, to the Ambassador Angel Dimitrov, in gratitude for his contribution to the development and progress of good neighborly relations and support cross-border cooperation.
The municipality of Palilula in the past few years successfully realized projects in partnership with Bulgarian cities Svoge, Kyustendil, Bobov Dol, Botevgrad, Ihtiman and received support of the European Union. This has contributed to improving the relationship of local communities in the region and strengthens the cultural, social and economic cooperation.
